What does the consultation include?
It includes the iTero scan, a preview of your likely result and time with the doctor. You decide afterwards whether to go ahead.
Is the preview exactly what I will get?
No. It is a projection to help you plan, and individual results vary. Dr. Alka will advise you on what is possible for your teeth.
Are you an authorised Invisalign provider?
Yes. Dr. Alka Sajan is an authorised Invisalign provider.
Can I pay in instalments?
EMI is available with Bajaj Finserv EMI Network, subject to approval. We will explain the options at your consultation.
Where is the clinic?
Dr. Alka's Dental Clinic is in Kuzhalanattu Arcade, opposite the KSEB Substation on M.C. Road, Koothattukulam, Ernakulam, Kerala 686662.
What are your timings?
We are open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The clinic is closed on Sundays.

Do you treat children as well as adults?
Yes. We care for the whole family, and Dr. Alka Sajan is known for her calm approach with anxious patients and children.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring any previous dental X-rays or treatment records, and a list of the medicines you take. Tell us about any medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure or allergies, because they affect dental treatment.
How often should I get a dental check-up?
Most people should have a check-up and cleaning every six months. Your dentist may suggest more frequent visits if you have gum disease, diabetes, aligners, or if you smoke or chew tobacco.
I have a toothache. What should I do?
Call or WhatsApp us during clinic hours and describe the pain. Rinse with lukewarm water and avoid putting tablets on the gum. If you have facial swelling that is spreading, fever, or trouble swallowing or breathing, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Is dental treatment safe during pregnancy?
Routine care, including check-ups and cleaning, is generally considered safe, and gum problems are more common in pregnancy. Tell your dentist you are pregnant so that X-rays, medicines and the timing of treatment can be planned safely.
How much will my treatment cost?
The cost depends on what is needed. After examining you, your dentist will explain the treatment options and give an estimate before starting.
